Is golf now ‘officially’ Cool?

Apple think golf is cool!

So we have always thought golf was cool, but society usually has a different opinion. Golf clubs full of rules, members’ only car park, dress codes and the many other clichés around etiquette and tradition.

However, we have often thought that whilst this can exist, golf is a game that can be played by all, all ages, all people, all skill levels, and above all, golf is a great leveller. No matter who you are and how good you think you are, golf will throw the same bad bounces, good bounces and different challenges your way.

But is it cool? Well, once “GOLF” appears in a MacBook ad by Apple, I think you can evidnece that golf is seen as COOL, has values that brands want to align with and has a certain appeal.
